Tasting and Tours.
At Chateau Grand Traverse, we welcome groups of all sizes.
Wine tastings at CGT are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and no reservations are required, however if you have a group of six or more, a courtesy call is appreciated. We offer tastings for $5 per person, with a $3 purchase credit towards a wine bottle purchase. For more information on tastings, click here.
We offer complimentary tours of the Chateau Grand Traverse grounds and winemaking facility, taking you through the winemaking process from harvest to bottling. Tours average 30 minutes and reservations are not necessary. Simply arrive in the tasting room about 10 minutes before a scheduled tour and a staff member will announce when the group will leave and where to meet. We’re happy to accommodate your group for a private tour and tasting, however we do ask for one-week notice for scheduling purposes. 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits are refundable up to 24 hours prior to reservation, less a $10 processing fee. Groups more than 15 minutes late may forfeit reservation.
Private Wine Tasting*
Enjoy a wine tasting in a semi-private setting at a reserved table in the three-season, covered portion of The Patio. Enjoy a delightful view of the CGT vineyards while you taste the best of the wines we have been growing and producing for over 40 years. A dedicated server will guide your group through a selection of five pre-selected wines showcasing the best of what we produce at CGT.

Private Tour and Tasting*
Private tours are given on the half hour and will give a complete overview of the winemaking process from harvest to bottling. The 30 minute tour concludes on the three-season, covered portion of the Patio, where we will reserve a table for your group to enjoy a wine tasting. A dedicated server will guide your group through a selection of five pre-selected wines showcasing the best of what we produce at CGT.

Please Note: While your furry friends are not allowed in the tasting room, we do welcome them on the patio, as long as you and your pet respect our posted rules, which include keeping your dog leashed and under your control at all times.
*During the months of September, October, and November, private arrangements are available Monday-Friday only.
